The story of this podcast was an interesting one. I noticed in the beginning how they made the background audio sound like the person was in a crowded coffee shop. As for the next part of the story, where the woman is going over a bad situation of a surprise birthday, the only problem being it wasn’t her birthday. It did seem like a true story, though it felt like I was actually in the room listening to her. I’m guessing the use of the audience was an audio track, and I must say, it was properly used for each moment of the story.
The next part of the story was of a woman being sad on her birthday and all she really wanted to do was sit there and be sad. The voice in the podcast, it really makes her sound like she was sad about the whole situation. Usually, a podcast has everything written down for the show, but the person who speaks in them always adds a bit more energy into it, making it seem like this was really happening and not scripted or anything.
