Meaning of Design

I will admit, when I was reviewing the resource of The Vignelli Canon, I didn’t understand it at first, but the more I read into it, it slowly started to make sense what it was about. That everything in the design of it, whether it is a advertisement, a magazine, or a comic (or graphic novel), they all have to have a meaning that draws the reader in, making them interested in it. Reading lines of text is one thing, but that combined with images of it, gives people a better sense of what it means.

The understanding of how to put the design together seems important as well. To make sure the text and images are easy to understand so the reader doesn’t get their stirred just to understand where they’re reading. It’s understandable that usually happens when it’s books, but graphic design makes up a structure of what’s being made.
